3 MAKEUP ESSENTIALS:

  1. If you’re going to dance the night away, pack some blotting papers and face powder.  Press powder is easier to carry and won’t lead to any accidental spills in your purse.
  2. Wearing false lashes?  Bring lash glue just in case.  If you didn’t glue them on properly they may loosen and your fake lashes will be hanging on for dear life!
  3. Last but not least, don’t forget to bring lip color for touch ups throughout the night.

COMPLIMENT YOUR DRESS:

Bold Lip or Smokey Eye?
Play up one feature.  If you’re going for a strong eye, keep your lips soft.  If you’re going for a strong lip, avoid the intense smokey eye look. However, if you’re a girl who’s not scared of being daring, then no rules apply

Play up the undertone of the dress color.  If your dress is red, but has a blue undertone, try a beautiful silver/metallic highlighter along the inner rim of your eyes to brighten up the red.  If there is more of an orange undertone, try gold instead to warm up the red and accentuate the color.

Did You Know?

  • If you’re breaking out from stress, use eye drops to reduce acne redness.  It contains anti-inflammatory agents and constricts the blood vessels.  So say good-bye to redness!
  • If you have oily skin, use a peeling mask or egg whites.  Applying a peeling mask on your skin will help draw out any impurities and excess oil from your skin.
